On This Day In History...

...the Adventures in Odyssey Blog was launched. At the time, it was pretty much the only one of its kind. The main purpose of the blog was just to give the latest Odyssey news, but we soon branched out to other things, including wallpapers, contests, a podcast, and more!

This website has had lots of visitors since then. In fact, here's a few statistics for the blog:
Number of posts: 323 Posts (not counting the one you're reading)
Number of views: over 16,814
Most popular post: AIO Blogcast Ep.18: Interview with Phil Lollar Part 1 with 684 views
Most downloaded podcast: AIO Blogcast Ep.18: Interview with Phil Lollar Part 1 with 2,096 downloads

Of course our success is attributed to several people and we want to thank them all. First off, Blogger. Blogger is the easiest way to make a blog and gives you unlimited creative options. This blog wouldn't be the same on, say Wordpress (ahem!). Secondly, thank you Josh Shepherd, Brock Eastman, and Nathan Hoobler for providing all the info and pictures to share on this site. The AIO Blog wouldn't be the same without you guys. Thirdly, thank you Bob Smithouser, Jesse Florea, Phil Lollar, and Dan Cline for taking time for us to interview you all. It's made doing the Blogcast even more fun! Last but not least, thanks to you, the reader and listener, for visiting the blog and listening to the Blogcast! We love you guys!

Usually when we hit a milestone for the blog each year, we do some special things to commemorate it. Well, we got busy with other things so we're not doing anything for our 3rd anniversary sad to say. But, we will say that we're going to be doing some really cool things soon to celebrate the release of the Blackgaard Chronicles. You won't want to miss them!

Well, we've been around for 3 years and we hope to be around for even longer! Do you have any suggestions for the blog or Blogcast? Then make sure to fill out our survey to let us know. Also, if you want to know some more about the creation of the AIO Blog and the Blogcast, listen to our tenth podcast that we did to commemorate our 2nd anniversary.

Happy Birthday AIO Blog!
