Memes. You've seen them all over the Internet: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, pretty much everywhere. You've probably shared some, you may have liked or favorited some, but have you ever made one? That's what this last part of the Wildest Summer Ever is all about! We want you to create the most cleverest and funniest meme ever...about Odyssey!
What is a meme?
Basically, it's a picture with a caption used to make a funny statement.
How to make one: You can use several websites, such as Quick Meme and Meme Maker, to help you make your own memes. You can also use your favorite photo editor to make one. Just make sure to use the font Impact. You may use a pre-made meme template or make a new one using pictures from AIO.
How to enter: Once you've made a meme, it's time to share it with us. For Facebook users, just post the photo on our Facebook page and use the hashtag #AIOMemeContest on the post. On Twitter, mention us in a tweet using @theAIOblog and the hashtag #AIOMemeContest. Note: Your tweets must be public for us to see your post.
If you follow us on Google Plus, you can send us an email (must be a Gmail account) with your meme. Just make sure to use the subject line "AIO Meme Contest."
How winners will be chosen: Once we get all the entries, we'll choose our favorite meme and two runners up.
The prizes: First and second place will receive a copy of the Our Favorites album, containing cast-picked episodes. Third place winner will receive a copy of Wooton's Whirled History: A Blend of Bravery, which contains 6 AIO history shows with new wrap arounds with Wooton.
You must be a resident of the 48 continental United States to enter and win.
The meme's content must be related to AIO.
The meme that you post must be of your own creation and not someone else's.
You are only allowed to enter one meme.
As per Facebook and Twitter's rules of their users being 13 or older, we can only accept entries posted by people that are of that age. If you are under 13, you may have one of your parents or older siblings to submit your entry for you. The same age limit goes for Google Plus entrants.
Please choose whether to post your entry on Facebook or Twitter. Do not post it on both.
Your entry should not contain any offensive pictures or vulgar/swear words. Any entry that contains any of these will not be eligible to win.
