This has been a hard year for Adventures in Odyssey fans. Earlier this year, Alan Young, the voice of Jack Allen died. We regret to inform you that another beloved actor has left us: Janet Waldo.

Janet Waldo died this past Sunday at the age of 96. For animation fans, she is most known for her role as Judy Jetson on The Jetsons, as well as other cartoons. However, for all of us, she was the voice of Jack Allen's wife, Joanne Woodston- Allen.

Janet first appeared on Odyssey in the episode titled Wonderwold. In that episode and subsequent ones, she played Maureen Hodges, Lawrence Hodges' mother. Janet later changed roles and started playing (then) Joanne Woodston in The Decision. Her character and Jack Allen were later married in, For Whom The Wedding Bells Toll, Part 3. Janet appeared in over 30 episodes, with 28 of them having Joanne in them. We last heard her in Home Again, Part 2. That episode also contained Alan Young's last appearance on AIO.

Our prayers are with her family at this difficult time. We miss you, Janet. Thanks for the wonderful memories!
