They get caught up in a series of adventures fraught with temporal distortions, political intrigue, secret societies, and supernatural battles, all as they try to cope with the daily pressures and craziness of adolescence. While traveling through the future and the past, they learn hard truths and secrets about themselves, and that there is forgiveness and redemption available to all who desire it. And, as Jesse and his uncle come to understand each other, Jesse begins to see that there is much more to Iliad House, and to why he and his uncle are there, than anyone realizes.
The first album contains 6 episodes, including:
- First Impressions
- Time Train
- Visions of Reality
- Blood Money
- Open War
- The Clearing
Quick disclaimer: This series is aimed for a little older audience than the 8 - 12 age range for Odyssey. Parents should preview or listen to it with younger children as there are some scenes with characters in peril.
Here's a trailer of the series to give you a taste of what you'll expect.
You can get your own copy of the first 6 episodes on MP3 or CD on the Iliad House website. The artwork for this series is phenomenal. You can see a few of the pieces on the Kickstarter page. If you enjoy looking at the artwork for a radio drama while listening or if you want to share the show with someone as a gift, the CDs allow you to do both of those things. Make sure to support the show so Phil and his team can make more episodes in the future!
We'll be having a review with Phil Lollar soon about Iliad House and other things so if you've heard it already, make sure to send us your questions about IH, AIO, or anything else to us. Just don't post any of your questions publicly if they contain spoilers. For spoiler-related questions, email them to [adventuresinodysseyblog@gmail.com].
Iliad House is not associated with Focus on the Family.
Wow! From what I saw of it, I thought it would never start! Congrats, Phil!
